The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association released its NCAA Division II National Players of the Week awards the week ending on March 23, 2025. California (Pa.) senior first baseman Payton Conte, is the National Hitter of the Week and Concordia University Irvine sophomore righty Matthew Kaiser is the National Pitcher of the Week.
Strong, Stevenson and Alberhasky honored as NCBWA Division III National Players of the Week
Performances that saw a no-hitter, 13 strikeouts and 17 RBIs over four games captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of March 17-23.
Tampa (23-4) tops NCBWA Division II Poll
The defending national champion University of Tampa Spartans remain atop the NCBWA top 25 poll, with the week seven rankings coming out Wednesday afternoon. The Spartans received all 20 first-place votes in this week’s poll, checking in at 23-4 on the season.
Humphrey, Bagwell and Haugh are Dick Howser Trophy National Players of the Week
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending March 23. Ole Miss senior outfielder Isaac Humphrey was named National Hitter of the Week, while UNCW freshman right-handed pitcher Cam Bagwell and North Carolina senior right-handed pitcher Aidan Haugh were named National Co-Pitchers of the Week.

Arkansas (23-2) tops NCBWA Division I Poll
Arkansas has jumped into the No. 1 position for the first time this season after previous No. 1 Tennessee had a 2-2 week and ended a 22-game win streak with a loss to East Tennessee State, 7-6 in 10 innings on March 18. Southeastern Conference quad-leaders (with Texas) Georgia and Tennessee are now Nos. 2 and 3 nationally. Atlantic Coast Conference power Clemson now is No. 4 (with a jump from No. 7 last week) while Florida State at No. 6 follows No. 5 LSU of the SEC.

ending on March 16, 2025. Regis (Colo.) senior catcher Adam Paniagua is the National Hitter of the Week and University of Mary (N.D.) junior pitcher

A .619 averaged with 15 RBIs over six games, and a pair of no-hitters captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of March 10-16.
Tampa (20-3) tops NCBWA Division II Poll
Defending national champion University of Tampa is back atop this week’s NCBWA top 25 poll, which was released Wednesday afternoon. The Spartans take back the top spot after North Greenville was the top-ranked team in last week’s poll. Tampa is 20-3 on the season, picking up 16 of the 20 first-place votes.

Kansas graduate outfielder Jackson Hauge was named National Hitter of the Week, while Clemson sophomore right-handed pitcher Aidan Knaak and Loyola Marymount junior right-handed pitcher Jonah Johnson were named National Co-Pitchers of the Week.

Tennessee (20-0) tops NCBWA Division I Poll
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 28th year with its 2025 weekly surveys. Tennessee, of the Southeastern Conference, remains at No. 1 for the third week in a row after sweeping its four games last week. The Volunteers of coach, Tony Vitello, now have won 22 games in succession since capturing the 2024 NCAA World Series and 26 of their last 27 games since June 2024. LSU remains No. 2 in the survey ahead of Arkansas, Florida State and Georgia.

Central Washington senior utility Brandham Ponce, is the National Hitter of the Week and Augustana (S.D.) junior pitcher J.D. Hennen is the National Pitcher of the Week.
Gold, Eddie, Orvis and Meissner honored as NCBWA Division III National Players of the Week
A cycle, a near no-hitter, a shutout and a healthy portion of extra-base hits captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of March 3-9.
North Greenville (20-3) tops NCBWA Division II Poll
The North Greenville University Trailblazers are back on top of the NCBWA top 25 poll. The week five rankings were released Wednesday morning. North Greenville was atop the poll in weeks two and three, before Tampa regained the top spot last week. The Trailblazers received 16 of the 20 first-place votes, sitting at 20-3 on the season.

Georgia graduate infielder Ryland Zaborowksi was named National Hitter of the Week, while East Carolina sophomore left-handed pitcher Ethan Norby and Middle Tennessee redshirt sophomore right-handed pitcher Drew Horn were named National Co-Pitchers of the Week.

Tennessee remains as No. 1 for the second week in succession as LSU moved up two places to No. 2. Rounding out this week’s top five are North Carolina, Florida State and Arkansas.

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has named its Dick Howser Trophy Players of the Month for February presented by The Game Headwear, tabbing Maryland catcher/infielder Alex Calarco its National Hitter of the Month and Ole Miss left-handed starter Hunter Elliott its National Pitcher of the Month.
