The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending March 23. Ole Miss senior outfielder Isaac Humphrey was named National Hitter of the Week, while UNCW freshman right-handed pitcher Cam Bagwell and North Carolina senior right-handed pitcher Aidan Haugh were named National Co-Pitchers of the Week.

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has named its Dick Howser Trophy Players of the Month for February presented by The Game Headwear, tabbing Maryland catcher/infielder Alex Calarco its National Hitter of the Month and Ole Miss left-handed starter Hunter Elliott its National Pitcher of the Month.

Ole Miss junior catcher/outfielder Calvin Harris was named National Hitter of the Week, while Hofstra graduate student right-handed pitcher Brad Camarda and LSU junior right-handed pitcher Paul Skenes were named National Co-Pitchers of the Week.

Stocked with standouts from the 2022 NCAA World Series and national Top 25-35 squads, the 22nd annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Preseason All-America teams feature the best of college baseball for the coming campaign.

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 25th year with its 2022 weekly surveys. NCAA champ Ole Miss wears the crown in this season-ending survey. This was the first NCAA diamond crown for the Rebels as they downed No. 2 Oklahoma 4-2 in the June 26 finals. Neither of the top two NCAA finishers was among the Top 16 seeds in the NCAA tourney draw, though UM began the season at 13-2 and was ranked No. 2 in four different NCBWA regular-season polls.

Ten standouts already with 2021 all-conference and several All-America mentions make up the finalists for the 16th NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award.
