UCLA'S BERG IS FIRST TWO-TIME STOPPER OF THE YEAR
UCLA's David Berg was named the Stopper of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park, becoming the first two-time recipient of the award. Berg also was named the NCBWA Stopper of the Year in 2013.
LSU'S MAINIERI IS 2015 NCBWA COACH OF THE YEAR
Highly successful head coach Paul Mainieri of LSU was tabbed as the 2015 National College Baseball Writers Association Coach of the Year by the organization at a national media conference on Saturday, June 13, at TD Ameritrade Park. Mianieri is the eighth recipient of the annual award that is voted upon by the NCBWA Board of Directors.
ARKANSAS' BENINTENDI CHOSEN AS 29TH RECIPIENT OF DCIK HOWSER TROPHY
Arkansas do-it-all outfielder Andrew Benintendi, arguably having the best offensive season in Razorback history, is the 29th recipient of the Dick Howser Trophy, presented by Easton Foundations, as college baseball's Player of the Year.
NCBWA ANNOUNCES 2015 ALL-AMERICA TEAM
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's 18th Annual All-America first, second and third teams feature 58 outstanding student-athletes, as the teams were announced on Wednesday. Two rounds of voting was conducted by the NCBWA membership to produce the All-America squad.

Five of college baseball's best relief specialists have been selected as finalists for the 11th annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award, as announced by the NCBWA on Wednesday. Two of the honorees are semifinalists for the Dick Howser Trophy, the award given by the NCBWA to the nation's top player, and four have been named All-Americans.
