Texas A&M (5-1) tops NCBWA Division I Poll

DALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 28th year with its 2025 weekly surveys.

Texas A&M remains No. 1 for the third week in succession as Southeastern Conference squads remain in the Nos. 1-4 places for the second week in a row.

Some of the big movers from Week Two to Week Three were Florida from 10 to 7 and Georgia from No. 12 to 9.

There have been eight conferences represented in the first three standings of 2025, and there were 12 different conferences in the 2024 NCBWA polls.

The 2025 poll voters come from among 33 college baseball writers and related media persons from throughout the nation. The ’25 season features 307 NCAA Division I baseball-playing schools.

The NCBWA also sponsors Division I Players of the Week, the Stopper of the Year, and publication and writing contests.
