For his efforts, Romero III was also named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Player of the Week.

On Wednesday, Prociak scored a career-high 32 points (9-of-14 FG, 14-of-16 FT) as the Monarchs were edged by Eastern 79-75. She added 17 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks in the contest. Then, in her team's 81-61 victory over FDU-Florham on Saturday, Prociak totaled 27 points (8-of-14 FG, 11-of-14 FT, 0-1 3FG), including the 1,000th of her career, while totaling a career-high eight assists, adding three steals and recording two blocks. The U.S. Basketball Writers Association was formed in 1956 at the urging of then-NCAA Executive Director Walter Byers. With some 900 members worldwide, it is one of the most influential organizations in college basketball. It has selected an All-America team since the 1956-57 season.
