Notre Dame's Miles headlines Ann Meyers Drysdale National Players of the Week
The return of collegiate basketball means the return of the U.S. Basketball Writers Association handing out its women’s five-member Ann Meyers Drysdale national players of the week, its Tamika Catchings freshman award, and noting its National Team of the Week. For the period through Sunday, Nov. 10, the first five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the season are Rutgers guard/forward Destiny Adams, Oklahoma center Raegan Beers, UCLA center Lauren Betts, Norfolk State guard Diamond Johnson, and Notre Dame guard Olivia Miles. The initial Tamika Catchings National Freshman of the Week is Michigan guard Syla Swords and Oregon is the USBWA National Team of the Week.

For the season's tenth honorees for games ending Sunday, February 6, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week goes to Delaware guard-forward Jasmine Dickey, the organization's Tamika Catchings women's freshman player honor goes to UConn guard Azzi Fudd, and the USBWA women's team citation goes to Michigan for the second time this season.

For the season's ninth honorees for games ending Sunday, January 30, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week goes to Michigan forward Naz Hillmon, the organization's Tamika Catchings women's freshman player honor goes to DePaul forward Aneesah Morrow, and the USBWA women's team citation goes to Drexel.

For the season's third honorees for games ending Sunday, Dec. 19, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week goes to Stanford junior guard Haley Jones, the Tamika Catchings Women's Freshman Player of the Week honor goes to Michigan guard Laila Phelia and the women's national team citation goes to Michigan for performances in the voting period.
MICHIGAN'S HOWARD WINS HENRY IBA AWARD
Michigan second-year head coach Juwan Howard, who led the Wolverines to a Big Ten regular-season championship and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, has been named the winner of the 2020-21 Henry Iba Award, given annually by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association to its national coach of the year.

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has selected Michigan center Jon Teske as its Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week for games ending the week of Sunday, Dec. 1.
MICHIGAN'S BURKE WINS 2012-13 OSCAR ROBERTSON TROPHY
The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has selected Michigan sophomore guard Trey Burke as the winner of the 2012-13 Oscar Robertson Trophy presented by Aflac, annually presented to the National Player of the Year. The announcement was made at a news conference today at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, site of the NCAA Men's Final Four.
