Harvard's Turner headlines Ann Meyers Drysdale National Players of the Week

For the period through Sunday, Nov. 17, the five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees of the week are Connecticut guard Paige Bueckers, Miami guard Haley Cavinder, Tennessee guard Talaysia Cooper, UTSA forward Jordyn Jenkins, and Harvard guard Harmoni Turner. The Tamika Catchings National Freshman of the Week is Notre Dame forward Kate Koval and TCU is the National Team of the Week.

USBWA unveils 2022-23 men's All-America Team

INDIANAPOLIS (USBWA) – A three-time All-American, three repeat members, last year’s Oscar Robertson Trophy winner and four players from the Big Ten are all members of the 2022-23 U.S. Basketball Writers Association's All-America Team. The 15-man team includes a member from each of the NCAA Tournament’s No. 1 seeds, seven players who were their conference players of the year, four players who were USBWA district players of the year, two of the country's top eight scorers and four of the top seven rebounders.

Miami's Wong is Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has selected Miami guard Isaiah Wong its Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week for games ending the week of Sunday, Dec. 11.

MIAMI'S LARRAƑAGA WINS 2012-13 HENRY IBA COACH OF THE YEAR AWARD

Miami (Fla.)'s Jim Larrañaga is the 2012-13 recipient of the Henry Iba Coach of the Year Award, presented annually to the national coach of the year by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

USBWA ANNOUNCES 2010-11 WOMEN'S HONORS

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has chosen the recipients of its 2010-11 women's postseason honors. Connecticut's Maya Moore is the National Player of the Year, while Baylor's Kim Mulkey is the National Coach of the Year and Baylor's Odyssey Sims is the National Freshman of the Year. All three selections will be honored at the USBWA Women's Awards Breakfast on Tues., April 5 in Indianapolis.
