USBWA unveils 2023-24 Men's All-America Team

Last season’s Oscar Robertson Trophy winner and the nation's leading scorer, three repeat selections, a pair of North Carolina teammates and four SEC stars headline the 2023-24 U.S. Basketball Writers Association's Men's All-America Team. The 15-man team includes a player from each of the NCAA Tournament’s four No. 1 seeds and six players who were their conference players of the year.

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has named five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week for games of the week ending Sunday, Dec. 24.

INDIANAPOLIS (USBWA) – A three-time All-American, three repeat members, last year’s Oscar Robertson Trophy winner and four players from the Big Ten are all members of the 2022-23 U.S. Basketball Writers Association's All-America Team. The 15-man team includes a member from each of the NCAA Tournament’s No. 1 seeds, seven players who were their conference players of the year, four players who were USBWA district players of the year, two of the country's top eight scorers and four of the top seven rebounders.

Arizona's Pellington, Florida State's Latson are USBWA women's national players of the week

For the season’s eleventh weekly women’s awards from the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, for games ending Sunday, Feb. 19, Arizona guard Shaina Pellington is Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week, Florida State guard Ta’Niya Latson is the Tamika Catchings freshman recipient, and Little Rock is the National Team of the Week.

Arizona's Tubelis is Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has selected Arizona forward Ąžuolas Tubelis as its Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week for games ending the week of Sunday, Feb. 5.

Arizona's Lloyd wins 2021-22 Henry Iba Award

Arizona first-year head coach Tommy Lloyd led the Wildcats to the Pac-12 Conference championship and a top seed in the NCAA Tournament. For his smashing debut guiding Arizona to 33 wins and into the Sweet 16, Lloyd has been named the winner of the 2021-22 Henry Iba Award, given annually by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association to its national coach of the year.

The 15-man team includes two of the country's top shooters, the third-leading scorer, seven players who were their conference players of the year and four players who were USBWA district players of the year.

ARIZONA'S MATHURIN IS OSCAR ROBERTSON NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has selected Arizona guard Bennedict Mathurin as its Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week for games ending the week of Sunday, Dec. 12.

USBWA NAMES 2019-20 WOMEN'S ALL-AMERICA TEAM

Three Oregon Ducks highlight the 2019-20 U.S. Basketball Writers Association Women's All-America Team. Pac-12 Player of the Year Sabrina Ionescu is joined by teammates Ruthy Hebard on the first team and Satou Sebally as a second-team selection. Ionescu, a three-time USBWA All-American, is the lone repeat first-team selection.

McDONALD, SIEGRIST ARE USBWA WOMEN'S NATIONAL, FRESHMAN PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

For the season's first U.S. Basketball Writers Association Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week and the organization's first-ever Tamika Catchings Freshman Player of the Week honor, Arizona guard Aari McDonald is national player while Villanova forward Maddy Siegrist has been tabbed for the freshman citation after McDonald helped her team go unbeaten while Siegrist helped her team split its games ending the week of Sunday, Nov. 17.
