Five repeat honorees, 16 players in CFP dot 2024 FWAA All-America Team presented by the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic
The 2024 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team , presented in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, has five repeat All-Americans and 16 players on teams competing in the College Football Playoff at the front of players from 40 different schools. Players from the expanded Big Ten and Southeastern Conferences make up 27, or half, of the 54-member team with nine of the Football Bowl Subdivision conferences represented plus an Independent.
FWAA selects seven semifinalists for 2024 Outland Trophy
OMAHA (FWAA) – Seven semifinalists for the 2024 Outland Trophy – five offensive linemen and two defensive tackles – were announced Wednesday by the Greater Omaha Sports Committee. The semifinalists are each from different schools representing four conferences and represent all four positions eligible for the award.

LSU's Campbell is Outland Trophy National Player of the Week
LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell had the highest pass blocking grade of any offensive tackle in the Tigers’ 34-17 win over UCLA. For his standout play in one of the weekend’s most-watched intersectional games, Campbell has earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honor for games played the weekend of Sept. 21, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.

Super 11 recipients announced for 2023 season
Two first-time winners and nine previous ones comprise the 15th Super 11 Awards, presented annually by the Football Writers Association of America to the best performing College Sports Communicators departments in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. The awards announced this week are for the 2023 season.

The 2023 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team, presented in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, is highlighted by seven repeat All-Americans and a record 10 players from the four teams competing in the College Football Playoff at the front of players from 36 different schools. There are 22 schools represented from eight Football Bowl Subdivision conferences on the first team and all 10 conferences plus an Independent are included on the overall 54-man team.
LSU's Turner is Outland Trophy National Player of the Week
A powerful second half led the LSU Tigers to a 48-18 win over Auburn last week with its offensive line helping churn up 563 total yards. As last week’s highest-graded player on an experienced line, LSU center Charles Turner III has earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honor for games during the weekend of Oct. 14, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.
FWAA unveils 2022 Freshman All-America Team
DALLAS (FWAA) – North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye was the toast of Atlantic Coast Conference quarterbacks this season, throwing for 38 touchdowns and leading the league in passing yards (4,321) and total touchdowns (45). For his dynamic efforts that led the Tar Heels (9-5) to the ACC’s Coastal Division title, the Football Writers Association of America awarded him as its Freshman Player of the Year presented by Chris Doering Mortgage.

Notre Dame is Cheez-It Bowl National Team of the Week
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish had two 100-yard rushers, held Clemson scoreless in the first half for the first time in three seasons and scored on special teams in dominating the No. 5 Tigers, 35-14, in South Bend. For posting its third straight win this season and its 27th straight regular-season win against Atlantic Coast Conference foes, Notre Dame (6-3) earned the Cheez-It Bowl National Team of the Week honor for games of the weekend of Nov. 5, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.

Clemson is Cheez-It Bowl National Team of the Week
The Clemson Tigers rushed their way back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to reward their sellout Homecoming crowd with a 27-21 win over No. 14 Syracuse, their 38th consecutive home win that set the Atlantic Coast Conference record. For also extending the FBS’ longest active win streak to 14 games and staying unbeaten, Clemson (8-0) earned the Cheez-It Bowl National Team of the Week honor for games of the weekend of Oct. 22, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.

LSU IS REVEAL SUITS NATIONAL TEAM OF THE WEEK
DALLAS (FWAA) � The LSU Tigers went into Austin and stole their first non-conference road win over an AP Top-10 team in program history, airing it out with 573 total yards in a 45-38 shootout over No. 9 Texas. The primetime win earned the Tigers (2-0) the Reveal Suits National Team of the Week honor for games of the weekend of Sept. 7.
