Five repeat honorees, 16 players in CFP dot 2024 FWAA All-America Team presented by the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic
The 2024 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team , presented in partnership with the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, has five repeat All-Americans and 16 players on teams competing in the College Football Playoff at the front of players from 40 different schools. Players from the expanded Big Ten and Southeastern Conferences make up 27, or half, of the 54-member team with nine of the Football Bowl Subdivision conferences represented plus an Independent.
Nine finalists for selected for 2024 Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award
The Football Writers Association of America, in conjunction with the Allstate Sugar Bowl, announced nine finalists for the 2024 Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award Tuesday. The FWAA's National Coach of the Year will be chosen from among a list that includes three prior finalists, including one repeat finalist from last season and six who have been nominated for the first time. Seven of the nine have their teams playing in the College Football Playoff and five won conference championships this year.
Army's Gennarelli is Outland Trophy National Player of the Week
Offensive guard Paolo Gennarelli graded high among all guards across the country last Saturday and guided the Army West Point Black Knights to another win, this one a 45-28 home win over East Carolina. For lead blocking creating holes for both a 100-yard-rushing quarterback and running back, Gennarelli earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honor for games during the weekend of Oct. 19, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.

ARMY IS REVEAL SUITS NATIONAL TEAM OF THE WEEK
The Army West Point Black Knights shut out rival Navy for the first time since 1969 in a rare home game during the vaunted series and took their eighth win of the season with a 15-0 win. The Black Knights held Midshipmen to just 117 yards of total offense and held the ball for 35:16 and have earned the Reveal Suits National Team of the Week honor for games of the weekend of Dec. 12, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.
