Performances that saw five homers, a no-hitter, a record 17 strikeouts, 12 runs scored and four homers captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of March 24-30.

The defending national champion Tampa Spartans remain the number one team in this week’s NCBWA top 25 poll, which was released Wednesday afternoon. Tampa received 18 of the 20 first-place votes, earning the top spot for the fourth straight week.

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending April 6. Grand Canyon redshirt senior outfielder Michael Diaz was named National Hitter of the Week, while LSU sophomore left-handed pitcher Kade Anderson was named National Pitcher of the Week.
