DALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 27th year with its 2024 weekly surveys.
Texas A&M, the fourth school to be ranked No. 1 this spring, while Atlantic Coast Conference powers Clemson and Duke now are Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, behind Arkansas and Tennessee of the Southeastern Conference.
Some of the big movers from week nine to week 10 were Duke No. 8 to 5, Wake Forest from No. 12 to 9, Vanderbilt from No. 13 to 10, Coastal Carolina from No. 19 to 13, UC Irvine from No. 18 to 15, Arizona from No. 25 to 17, and Oklahoma and NC State from receiving votes into positions 20 and 24, among others.
There have been 12 conferences (eight this week) represented in the first 10 standings of 2024, and there were 15 different conferences in the 2023 NCBWA polls.

Founded in 1962, the NCBWA is dedicated to the advancement of college baseball. Membership is open to writers, broadcasters and publicists of the sport. Members receive a membership card, directory, newsletter updates and official votes in the Dick Howser Trophy, Regional Players of the Year and NCBWA All-America voting. The NCBWA also sponsors Division I Players of the Week, the Stopper of the Year, and publication and writing contests.
